We are the home of FBCx®, the dietary fiber with the odd name but great results. Please explore our site. If you require more information than you can find here please and we will do our best to assist you.
FBCx® is an all natural, soluble fiber derived from domestically grown corn. FBCx® has demonstrated a remarkable ability to bind and eliminate 9-times its own weight in dietary fat (triglyceride), thus preventing absorption of a significant portion of your daily diet.
Generally Recognized As Safe (GRAS) status was approved by the FDA. Our first US patent issued in May 2005. More US and world patents have either issued or are pending. FBCx® binds nine times its own weight in fat. Data obtained from a double-blind clinical trial with obese diabetic volunteers as well as numerous animal studies have been published. Please visit our Science Page for a complete list and description. These results as well as pre-clinical (anecdotal) data suggest that:
- FBCx is effective at reducing and/or maintaining body weight in patients with type 2 diabetes.
- FBCx lowered both triglyceride and LDL (bad) cholesterol levels in those patients with elevated triglyceride levels.
- FBCx significantly increases the blood levels of adiponectin, indicating an increase in insulin sensitivity and therefore a possible delay in the need to either institute or intensify insulin therapy in type 2 diabetic patients.
- FBCx, based upon dietary recall data, has been shown to bind and remove 9 times its own weight in dietary fat.
- FBCx appears to preferentially bind saturated and trans fats over unsaturated dietary fats.
- Significant reduction in the amount of blood pressure medication has been seen
- FBCx produced no adverse side effects.
- Nutritional counseling may enhance the benefits of FBCx.
Drs. K-L Catherine Jen and Joseph Artiss discovered this technology in their day jobs as faculty at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. The technology was acquired from the university and ArtJen was born. FBCx is actually an acronym for Fat Binding Complexer.
We know that you are tired of diets and exercise programs, and that you have run out of time and patience for both of them. So have we. Our early interest in FBCx® involved a very specific condition that was a result of diabetes; much to our surprise it has proven to have much greater possibilities.
Try to imagine, a diet program that does not involve a diet! Two tablets per meal, three meals a day with a regular fat-containing 2,000 kcal/day diet results in just 1,500 kcal/day getting absorbed into your system. As an added bonus it appears that, from our early data, that you won’t even notice that you are absorbing 25% fewer calories. Adding an exercise program and eating a healthy calorie reduced diet will enhance the weight-loss effects of FBCx.
Neither the FDA nor the FTC evaluated these statements. This product is not intended to diagnose, cure, treat or prevent any disease.
